We chose The Ruby Hotel’s bar for our rehearsal dinner before the wedding and were so glad we did. We didn’t stay at the hotel, but the bar and outdoor spaces made a great setting for a private event. The manager and staff were a delight to work with, and the atmosphere was fantastic. They let us bring our own food and decorations, while The Ruby’s bartenders handled the drinks. The price was reasonable, and we could start with a full bar, then switch to beer and wine for the last few hours. We also got to choose signature cocktails. People were still talking about The Ruby Slipper cocktail months later. A really memorable drink. Highly recommend it for private events.

The staff greeted us with smiles, check-in was easy, and the door code came to our phones, so we didn’t have to keep track of a key card. Our bare-bones room had a mini fridge with items for sale, snacks on the table, and a Nespresso machine with cups and creamer. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t a couch since we’d come to catch up with friends we hadn’t seen in a while. We had lunch and dinner at the cute, quaint bar. The turkey club was great, and the salad was tasty with vinaigrette. Inside felt cozy, and I loved that the Christmas decorations were still up. When it was a bit crowded for happy hour, we sat outside. The manager saw us and turned on the fire pit and another heater, which was kind. The popcorn was good, though I wished it had seasoning. The Garden of Eden drink was excellent, light, and refreshing. We also liked the nachos with their generous amount of chicken. The BBQ bacon burger was good, though I’d have liked more sauce. Service was excellent, and I’d gladly return.

Mayra and Kyle at the front office were kind and accommodating, and check-in went smoothly. During our stay at The Ruby Hotel & Bar in Round Rock, TX, we had excellent service and felt welcome. It’s a relaxed, upscale-feeling place near Austin, without the downtown bustle, and I’d recommend it for a weekend away. We booked a double room with a balcony, which gave two of us plenty of space and a nice place to sit outside. The room was clean and comfortable, with plush beds, a spacious bathroom, good amenities, and stylish retro decor. We had peaceful views of Brushy Creek from the balcony and spotted ducks and birds. The grounds were beautifully kept and the pool looked inviting, though we didn’t get to use it. The on-site bar looked cozy, but we were in town for business and missed having cocktails there.

After a long weekend at a conference in Austin, the nature views and relaxed atmosphere were restorative. I loved staying at The Ruby, a chic and cozy boutique hotel that’s a great choice for the Round Rock area. The room felt like an artistic little oasis, and I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at the restaurant and the trees lit with twinkle lights. The staff were especially hospitable. Shout out to Jonathan and Kyle for being so gracious and for answering all my questions about Round Rock and the coffee maker. I hope to come back.

After long days of meetings, I loved having a private balcony over the creek to unwind on. The room was very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and The Ruby Hotel has a laid-back boutique feel that’s much more personal than the big chains. I stayed two nights in Round Rock for work, and it was just right. The staff were kind and helpful, beyond just being polite. Downstairs, Ruby Bar & Kitchen had great drinks and a relaxed atmosphere, a good place to switch off from work.
