Best Western Plus Rumford Falls

The little pool is salt water, and dogs are allowed, though they charge $30 a night. Our double Queen room had a sitting area, which was nice, but the small TV didn't have HBO or anything good like that. Breakfast was continental and pretty bizarre, with a strange egg and onion souffle. Yuck!

Room 321 had lots of space and lovely furnishings, with a work desk, sofa, two full-size TVs, a full-size fridge, and a microwave. The kitchenette had a big counter, but no cooktop, oven, dishes, or utensils. The lighting in the hallways was great, and the accessible bathroom had good safety bars and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was fantastic, with hot food and crispy bacon. The hostess kept things stocked and even wiped down our table. The lobby was beautiful, the staff were great, and the breakfast area was large. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back.

Ava at the front desk kindly helped me arrange a return shipment for the things I'd left behind. I was especially impressed by how honest the housekeeping staff were after I forgot my camera, GoPro, and several souvenirs at Best Western Plus Rumford Falls hotel during our recent stay. Their help showed real commitment to customer service, and I'm grateful. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

We enjoyed the walk to dinner at local Brick & Stone restaurant, along the waterfront park and across the bridge from the hotel. It's clean, nice, and conveniently close to downtown. We stayed one night August 15th while touring Western Maine, and would choose it again if we're back in the area. The king room was comfortable, with a beautiful shower and a couple of places to sit. The quaint saltwater pool was comfortable, too. Breakfast had hot eggs and sausage links and patties, a waffle maker, other non-hot choices, and a juice bar. Our key didn't work at first, which seems to happen at other places too. The single-cup coffee maker was oddly in the bathroom, so we moved it to the sitting table. Easy fix.
