Deep Creek

We had a relaxing visit, and we’ll be back. This was my second stay with my grandson, and the staff were really friendly and helpful with information. The room was clean and quiet, and there are little shops within walking distance. It’s also close to just about anything you might want to do, with a restaurant across the street that serves delicious food. Thank you!

I barely slept because the AC was ancient and loud, and the fridge kept buzzing. When I called the hotel for help, nobody answered. The bathroom was filthy too, with hair on the shower wall and all over the floor after I’d hoped for a relaxing shower following a long day skiing. Housekeeping clearly hadn’t done its job. I stayed one night, and it was a nightmare. Don’t let the photos fool you, this place doesn’t look like what they advertise. Not worth the money. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

The owner was really nice and provided what we needed. The room was clean, bright, well furnished, and soundproofed, with a big TV and lots of outlets. It’s affordable and would be a nice place to stay for a few days. The bathroom works, but the shower is frustrating: the head is tiny and the water barely flows, so it only wets a small patch at a time. There are so many switches, and each one only turns on one light. No cockroaches, either. 3/5.

For the price and location, this is a great place to stay, and the room looked clean and newly renovated. I’d give it 5/5 on those points, more like 4.5 overall. The rooms don’t block much sound from the adjoining rooms, which seem to be separated by a connecting door. Also, every light was bright white. A warm bulb would’ve been easier on the eyes at night. The pancake machine was broken during my visit, so I hope they fix it soon.
