The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, but there isn't another hotel for miles if you're visiting town. The cheap rate seems to bring in all kinds of people. We had nonstop noise from the room above until 2:30 AM, then it started up again at 6:30. Maybe avoid room 113. In the morning, I took my dog out and saw what looked like a homeless guy ride up to the rear exit, walk in, warm up in the stairwell, then leave on his bike. The back door doesn't need a key, apparently. That was scary.
8/10
There was plenty of open courtyard space for kids and dogs to run around, and the place was well maintained. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, employees were nice, and breakfast was free. The price was fair. The location was a little weird, but it was a standard stay.
4/10
We couldn't get out of there fast enough. The room smelled like cigarettes, the bathroom mirror was cracked, and there was a coffee maker in the bathroom, which didn't seem sanitary. The furniture looked like it was from the 60s. There was even black stuff on the wall where a picture had been.
10/10
I've stayed here many times, and it's one of my usual places. Karla at the front desk has always gone above and beyond to accommodate us, and Jennifer is always smiling and helps make the stay a good experience. I've never had a negative encounter with either of them, and breakfast is really good. This time, though, the jetted tub was pretty gross and dirty, and the room smelled bad.
6/10
For the price, it did the job, since there aren't many options. There was bar soap, a small fridge and microwave, and the place was clean. The beds weren't the best. At this price, it came down to staying here or driving 45 minutes into Indy and back.
