Rodeway Inn

I enjoyed staying here and would come back. The room was a little run down, but the bed was really comfortable, there was enough bedding, and the AC and heating worked nicely. It was much larger than I expected, with a queen bed, couch, stove, refrigerator, and dining area, plus the usual hotel things like a TV, iron and ironing board, shampoo, and soap.

We got a great price, and the place was totally adequate for us. The beds were small, but there were two, so we were comfortable. The AC worked well, the blackout curtains were appreciated, and the staff were friendly and gave us good food recommendations. The indoor pool is only available in summer, which seems odd. It should be open all year.

I paid $117 for a room and left completely dissatisfied. The person who billed me said it was on the first floor, but when I arrived it was on the second, which was especially hard with my broken back and my wife's severe stroke. In the morning I found a coffee maker but no pot anywhere. They need to get their act together. They've lost my business, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

The little kitchenette was a big plus, and the room was clean with comfortable beds and very friendly staff. It's a small gem among the mom-and-pop motels on the strip. It's not the Hilton, but it isn't priced like one either, so five stars feels fair. We'd absolutely stay again.
