Hampton Inn & Suites Sacramento-Airport-Natomas

We live out of town and needed to get our daughter to the airport for an early Sunday flight, so as Hilton members we chose this hotel for its rating and proximity to the airport. The room and service both met our expectations. We forgot a corkscrew for the wine we brought, but the front desk clerk happily lent us one. The buffet opened at 6:00 and had a good range of food. The coffee was surprisingly good, good enough to compare with some top-notch coffee shops. It's not the cheapest hotel in the area, but free parking and a generous breakfast made up for the price. We'd stay again.

The breakfast was phenomenal, with waffles two ways, yogurt, hot coffee, bagels, and muffins. Our room was neat and clean, well lit, and the heater worked great. The shower was a nice walk-in, with everything from lotion to shampoo and conditioner. The lobby smelled lovely when we arrived, almost like baby powder, which was nicer than most hotel smells. It was decorated for Christmas and felt warm, a welcome thing since it was chilly outside.

A good deal for the room, and the location was good too. It's newly renovated, with a hot tub, heated pool, and an airport shuttle. Breakfast was okay, but the coffee was terrible. I also liked that they hadn't gone overboard with the cleaning spray.

We had a short stay while visiting family, and this was one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in. Walking in, you notice a fresh, clean scent right away. The front desk staff were friendly and polite. The cafe staff did a great job labeling each food item with its own serving utensil, and the food was delicious. We look forward to staying again when we're back.
