Motel 6 Sacramento, CA - Natomas & SMF Airport

I won't stay here again after the ordeal trying to extend my stay. I booked through super.com and won't use them again either. For two hours I stood in the office on the phone with super.com trying to sort out a problem between them and the hotel. I was still in the same room I'd had for two days, but ended up acting as the go-between while hotel staff took breaks and helped other customers. I got nowhere. I had to check out and was charged a $40 late fee, even though I was doing all I could to resolve what their system showed as "wrong." Staff treated me like I was annoying them and interrupting their day. If the property keeps taking super.com reservations, these check-in problems will keep happening. They didn't need to be so rude, and shouldn't have charged me. Ultimately, it was an issue between super.com and studio 6.

I paid $100 a night and expected a decent room, but this one was a mess. Two roaches were right there when I walked in, and I'm sure more were hiding under the bed. Water was dripping from a leak in the bathroom vent above the toilet, murky yellowish water into the bowl, so it was unusable. I left immediately and asked for a refund. They offered another room, but by then I was done. I told the staff what I'd found and hope they take it into consideration.

My dog loved staying here, and I'd come back. The staff were kind and professional, and they accommodated my request for a first-floor room. The hotel was clean.

Today is 1/24/26. Front Desk Maria made this stay as good as possible, giving me a top notch room and great customer service. The staff were wonderful, and I'm looking forward to staying again.
