Best Western Desert Inn

Breakfast was the best part, especially the pancake and yogurt toppings, and everyone on staff was friendly. The room itself had a really unpleasant smell, uncomfortable sheets, and a shower wall that seemed very off. For what we paid, the value was low. I was glad we only had to stay one night.

The front desk woman was helpful when we asked to move after the first room we saw was dirty and smelled bad. Unfortunately, the replacement was just as dirty and smelled even stronger of cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. There were stains on the bed, the towels smelled, and the shower and bathroom were grimy. The hair dryer only worked on one setting. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but with the hotel's 4.3-star reviews I expected much better. I won't stay here again.

Our rooms were okay and the location is right in the center, but April really made the stay. After we checked out, we realized we'd left personal belongings behind, and she got them back to us quickly. We're very grateful for the care from check-in through after checkout, and we'll be back. Thank you.

It's the outdoor-door style of Best Western, but it was a nice stay. Breakfast was great too. I'd never seen one of those self-serve yogurt dispensers before, haha.
