Off the Charts Inn & Out Island Resort

Stephanie, the off site manager at Off the Charts, was especially accommodating. We liked sitting in the sun by the canal, right outside our sliding glass patio door, and watching manatees. We also enjoyed carryout from Phuzzys at the corner, and visiting the Marina, Research Center, and Tarpon Lodge at Pine Land. Cositas Cuban Cafe, on the right as you come onto the island, had the best food and staff. We loved the vibe of Off the Charts Inn and St James City. One thing to know is there’s no on site housekeeping service.

We had a peaceful, quiet, relaxing getaway in a nice, clean room. It had been newly renovated after the past hurricane, and we saw manatees and dolphins in the canal, along with an eagle flying overhead and other birds. If you bring a boat, you can park it right outside your door. Highly recommend.

We rented a boat for a friends birthday celebration and kept it in a slip right outside the property. There were great spots for fishing and sunning, and a few good local places to eat or catch live music were within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. We’ll definitely be back to Off the Charts Inn.

The rooms were VERY clean and had just been redone after the past hurricanes, so the property felt basically brand new. Stephanie was a nice, accommodating host. It’s easy to walk to several restaurants and bars, and if you know Pine Island and St James City, you’ll know how central this location is to everything on the island. We’ll be back very soon.
