Yellow House Bed and Breakfast

We took over the entire Yellow House B&B compound for an Army retirement party with our whole family. The venue made it easy to enjoy time with family and friends, without worrying about anything else. Accommodations felt welcoming for guests from age 6 to 80+. Sarah and James were gracious and accommodating throughout, keeping on top of everything from breakfast to the party BBQ. It was a delight to celebrate there. HIGHLY recommend it.

Sarah makes checkout incredibly easy. There’s no need to strip the beds, take out the trash, or wash dishes, she handles everything. She always answers the phone and takes care of what you need. Breakfast was really good too, left at the front door so you can just open it and eat. The cottage has two large bedrooms, two easy-to-use bathrooms with showers, and fun antique decor.

We had about 60 guests at our daughter’s wedding in the barn, and it was a perfect venue. Sara and James were friendly and accommodating. Yellow House is lovely, with well-maintained, very clean houses and cottages. Each morning, a hot breakfast arrived at our door in a picnic basket. Great service, and it was delish! Downtown Salado is only a few minutes away. Definitely check it out for a wedding, girls’ trip, family getaway, or couples trip.

The breakfast was so good, and Sara even gave us a charcuterie class, which was a lot of fun. We stayed in the pink house and loved it. Everything was super clean and comfortable, and we had a great time playing with our puppies on the property. Sara and James are amazing hosts. They helped make the whole stay easy, from booking right through checkout, and take great care of the place.
