Hampton Inn Salem Boston

I paid around $430 for two nights, and this review is based on what that price got me. The location is the best thing about the hotel, and parking was easy at $30 a night. Staff were very friendly, and even a late check-in was simple. It’s pet friendly, so you might not want to walk around barefoot in the room since they don’t provide slippers. The showerhead was small and had little pressure, there were no toiletries, and the blankets felt cheap. We skipped breakfast both days, so it wasn’t worth it to us. I wouldn’t choose a street-facing room because you’ll hear all the traffic. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The breakfast was the highlight: a spacious, updated room and a good selection. My boyfriend and I had just left another Hampton Inn on the second part of our vacation, and this one was hands down a better experience. The room was roomy, housekeeping were friendly and helpful, and the front desk was helpful too. On-site parking was great, and attractions were just a 5 to 10 minute walk away. My only small complaint is that there wasn’t a safe in the room. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Maria kept checking in during breakfast to make sure everything was okay, and Ana helped us out when we needed something for the room. Everyone was so nice, and the staff made our stay even more special. The location is great, with everything in Salem within walking distance. Rooms were comfortable, modern, and cozy. Breakfast was delicious, too, with square bagels and pumpkin spice waffles. Definitely recommend it, we had a great experience!

I accidentally left behind something really important and didn’t notice until I was already states away. Housekeeping found it before I could even get in touch, and Andrew, the housekeeping manager, went out of his way to ship it to me the same day. Their care and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. The hotel is clean and modern, right in the middle of downtown Salem, but surprisingly quiet. The staff are amazing, especially housekeeping, who do an excellent job. Highly recommend it as the best hotel in the area.
