Rodeway Inn Salem Northgate

The service staff were wonderful. I met three different attendants, and every one was extremely kind and went out of their way to improve our stay. The price was right, too, and it works in a pinch. You’re right beside the freeway, though there wasn’t much traffic noise, which was nice. The rooms were a little worn, and ours was a nose smoking, but it smelled a bit like cigarette smoke. The shower had very low pressure, which was disappointing.

An inexpensive place to stay, and the beds were comfortable. The shower was pretty cool and had good pressure. The TV either didn’t work or the picture was horribly pixelated. The fridge either worked fine or froze everything you put in it.

The place looked rough, with stains everywhere, a strange smell, and lots of noise. I brought my own bedding, which probably tells you how it looked. Still, the room was warm, the water was hot, and the staff were nice.

The room had a moldy, dirty shower, walls that were dirty, and burned holes in the carpet. The bathroom sliding door jammed halfway open, the fridge froze everything, and the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. There was no breakfast despite it being advertised. Teenagers ran around yelling until 2 a.m. I have nothing good to say about this place. Do not stay there!
