The room was clean, and we didn't see any bugs or have complaints. When we checked in, the friendly staff member switched us to an upgraded room at no extra cost. We'd booked online through Priceline and answered the questions about the children's ages, but it gave us one queen bed even though the listing showed two. I'd stay here again.

We tried to stay here on September 26, but left immediately. Roaches and crickets were in every corner, and there was even a bug on the pillow. The room was filthy and clearly hadn't been maintained. It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The Value Inn had sticky floors, thin walls, a bed that brought regrets, and a TV that only disappointed. There were even bugs, apparently included as free pets. Between this and the Travelers Lodge, I'd just keep driving.

I'd probably rate it four out of five if the wife weren't so disrespectful. She's argumentative and just repeats the problem instead of trying to find a solution. Make it make sense.

I've been here for almost a month, and the other guests have been quiet with no drama so far. The rooms are clean and bug-free, and the owner has put a lot of time into renovations, which you can see. It's right off the highway with good rates, and the beds are comfortable. If you need a place to crash for a night or longer, it works well. The Hickory Hut BBQ restaurant is practically across the street, so check out my reviews of that place and you'll understand.
