The people running it are cool, just be careful. Pay your rent and things should be okay. Housekeeping never came, and I got only one towel for three weeks. I never showered there because it wasn't in good condition. I'm not trying to hate, just being honest. They need to do a lot of work on the place. I offered to help remodel, but they said no, the owner was too cheap, so what can you do, haha. Hope this is useful.

The rooms really aren't clean, and the place could use much better upkeep. The staff are nice and friendly, but they don't seem to help quickly unless you're a visitor. At the entrance, though, they're right there making sure you show ID and provide information before you enter. I can sort of understand that, but given the condition of the property, sort of not. There are cats everywhere outside. Room prices are a bit high, though being right by the freeway and airport is convenient.

A guy I know is staying there temporarily, and it gives a whole new meaning to "no tell motel." It's a roach infested dump with power shortages all the time. What they call a kitchenette is just a microwave and a micro fridge. A neighbor lady greeted you, assumed you were a biker, and wanted to "get with you." They may promise you one room and put you in another after they have your money. I believe my acquaintance is paying $1,400 for the month. You could do a lot better with that amount.

The rates are $65 a night in cash or about $265 a week by credit card. If you're down on your luck and can scrape together the money each week, it's affordable at under $300. It's a place to rest your bones, on the edge of old Rose Park and along a bad stretch of road. It could be a place to get away if you don't want people to find you. Most people wouldn't look here. This is a throwback to another era, the kind you might remember from a tough childhood. It isn't glamorous, though it's relatively clean. The air conditioner doesn't work, and its plug has been twisted to fit the wall outlet, a small fire hazard if you worry about such things. I wish I could say more positive things, but if lower than three stars were an option, I'd honestly give it 2.2.

I stayed here back in 2015 and still remember all the keyboards in the living room and office area. The family were nice, warm, and welcoming. Definitely recommend.
