Ellerbeck Mansion Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast smelled so good when I woke up Sunday, and it was delicious and homemade. It was fun to chat with the other guests over the meal, though there was no pressure to join in if you'd rather eat on your own. My husband and I booked a night for my birthday and loved the cozy, homey feel. I'd never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and the house's history and beautiful decor made it such a fun change from a regular hotel. It felt much more personal and friendly, and I'll definitely come back.

Our room, the Deseret on the second floor, was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the bed was especially nice. A little light came in through the upper window above the door, so it wasn't very dark at night. That's a small issue and wouldn't keep us from returning. The breakfast was amazing, and the innkeepers were welcoming, kind, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy, with all the details sent clearly before we arrived. We've already told several friends about Ellerbeck and would stay again.

We had a delicious made-to-order breakfast from Stephanie, and the bed was comfortable. The inn feels like a step back to the 1890s, from its furniture to the old Sears & Roebuck catalog on the coffee table. Victoriya greeted us with cookies, showed us around, and led us to our room. We like trying different inns for their distinct feel, so we picked Ellerbeck Bed & Breakfast for the last night of our vacation. Victoria recommended a nearby Italian restaurant for dinner, and it was an easy walk from the inn. We'd stay again if we get the chance.

We could walk to City Creek and Temple Square, and the mansion itself has so much interesting history. Breakfast was delicious, with gluten-free choices that I appreciated. Apple TV in the room was handy, and the carriage house had a great atmosphere and was bustling when we left. I'll recommend this unique Salt Lake stay to friends and family.
