InTown Suites Extended Stay Salt Lake City UT - South

We're here for an extended stay, and this is a budget place that offers basic accommodations without frills, about what you'd expect for the price. The room is on the small side and feels cramped if you're used to larger hotels, though ours is reasonably comfortable. The bed works fine, and the shower is one of the best parts, with reliably hot water and good pressure. Having laundry on site is convenient for a longer visit. The hallways have a persistent musty, mildew-like odor that hits every time we walk through. Some guests seem sketchy, with lots of random coming and going and odd behavior in the parking lot at times. It makes us uneasy, especially after dark. The atmosphere isn't great and it's definitely not luxury. The kitchenette and dependable hot water are helping us get by at this price, but expectations should stay realistic. We'd probably look elsewhere if security or a nicer environment mattered more to us.

I've been here for a while, and the place has been phenomenal. I'm here with two small children, and the staff are understanding when my grandbabies have meltdowns or little fits. Our room is nice, and they do a monthly spray for unwanted pests. I've never seen any bugs while staying here. Management is amazing. Nina is always available to help or answer questions, and she shows she cares about guests and her job. The whole crew is great, and I couldn't be more pleased with my stay.

Nina always greets people with a smile. I really appreciate how candid she is and how she takes the time to get to know everyone. The housekeeping is awesome, and the rooms are clean and nicely done. The area can get loud, though not all the time. There’s plenty of convenience nearby, with fast food, restaurants, a movie theater, Jiffy Lube, and a car wash. It’s a great place to stay.

Nina, the manager, is kind and really helpful. If she can do something to help, she will. I've seen people give her a hard time, and honestly, come on, y'all. She doesn't make the rules, she enforces them as part of her job. Be adult enough to accept it when something is outside her control. Thanks, Nina, for being so helpful.
