The Green River Valley view was lovely, and the room felt clean and comfortable. We came for The Gorge zipline, just .2 miles away, and also found it handy for downtown Saluda and the I26 interstate. It was our first stay, and the staff kept us updated and answered our questions quickly. A simple, safe place to rest and unwind. We really enjoyed it.

The room was comfortable and clean, and I really liked the woodwork and travertine style tile in the renovation. There’s a lovely spot to sit and look out at the gorge, too. Booking through the hotel was easy, the directions were clear, and self check-in was convenient. My only gripe is that we couldn’t stay longer in the area.

I’m grateful we got to make those memories at this beautiful lodge. My wife and mother in law already left a review, but I wanted to add that my mother in law passed away today after a long fight with her heart. This was our first and last vacation here with her. She loved the place, and I’m so glad she got to enjoy it. I hope other people find the same happiness there that we did.

You could spend the whole weekend just enjoying the views here. They’re amazing, and the property also has games, a fire pit, and picnic tables overlooking the side of the mountain. The lodge is so quiet, with clean, freshly painted rooms that are a nice size. Town, festivals, and even waterfalls are close by. Can’t wait to return to Green River Lodge.

After coming all the way from New Mexico, I was tired when I reached wonderful little Saluda, NC and Green River Lodge. Check-in was seamless, and the renovated room had a cozy cabin feel that helped me relax. The bed was comfy, and there was a microwave, coffee, tea, and a fridge. I hated having to leave. I stood out back and took in the glorious gorge view. The people who serviced my room had those rare, genuine personalities and real care. Love it, I’ll be back.
