The owner was incredibly sweet to me and my female friend. We were tired, worn out, and hot, and when I realized I didn't have enough money, she helped us out even though she didn't have to. I see it as a kind gesture, taking a small loss to gain two loyal customers. She also noticed my friend's nerves about keeping her car in sight because of the area's reputation, and personally got us the best parking spot next to our room. That eased her mind and my stress too. I loved the place and might go back tonight just to hang out. No disrespect to her ethnicity or culture. I don't judge, and we're all different. The motels do have a stereotypical rap, but I was happy with her generosity. I know how to do make-ready work and fix things, so I'm offering my services for free to pay it forward to her and her family's motel.

The room was gross, with a bug in the bathtub. You also have to leave a deposit to hold onto your own driver's license, which sucks, though it seems expected at these Patel Hotel’s. Would I stay again? Maybe, if I were out of options and just needed somewhere to sleep.

I made it about six minutes before taking the key back. There were cigarette burns in the blanket, taped-over holes in the wall, and the door's deadbolt didn't work. When I switched on the TV, it was showing a porno. The clerk didn't ask what was wrong or offer a refund, and I'd like to think she already knew why I left. The city needs to shut this place down.

The refrigerator was broken, and the office said there wasn't another room. The TV was scrambled and unusable too. They don't give refunds. To the manager who says I never came to him before posting this, you're right. I posted the truth after going to the office. I guess having a Google local guide check in or out sucks for you.
