Eckhert Place

It’s a quiet, very basic apartment. There are enough parking spaces, but it needs more cleaning and the pool is broken.

The condo was clean and had all the kitchen supplies and towels we needed. We stayed April 15-22, 2017, in a two-bedroom, three-bath place, which was nice for four women. It’s supposed to sleep up to eight, but five seems more realistic, with one person on the couch, and the couch needs cleaning. The property was quiet, even two days before the Festival, and the staff were nice and accommodating. The grounds were fairly well maintained, with Spanish and Mexican accents. The pool wasn’t heated but was in a pretty setting. The hot tub wasn’t heated and none of its jets worked. I asked the manager, who said it didn’t work. It’s about 15-20 minutes from the River walk and airport.

I stayed here four years ago. It was a really nice, kid friendly place.

The landscape behind the complex is lovely, and I like that the location isn’t too close to the city. I saw the place as an Air B&B, and the apartment we’re staying in is really nice and spacious, with three rooms and three and a half restrooms. I haven’t been to the pool, but from what I saw it looks well kept.
