Both rooms had roaches, and I left before the night was over. I switched rooms because the sink water wasn't working, but the manager and his wife accused me of using two rooms. I tried to explain that I hadn't used both, and the manager cursed at me while I stayed respectful. The staff were VERY rude and disrespectful. Anyone saying otherwise is clearly a friend. DONT go here ever!

We were traveling on New Year's Eve and wanted to watch the countdown and some football, but the TV and remote wouldn't work together. I called 0 for the front desk twice and got no answer. The power button was too far behind the TV for us to reach. There was one available upstairs room despite lots of empty parking spaces, which made me wonder if the other rooms were in even worse repair. The bed cover was stained, and the room was neglected and run down. The motel is unappealing. The man who gave us the room had to tell us the housekeeping staff had left when we asked for a towel, and we got just one. They don't provide soap, shampoo, or other complimentary products. There were no working lights over the sink, which made it hard to do makeup. The pool is maintained, according to the maintenance guy, but it's too cold for anyone to swim, while the rest of the property and customer service aren't maintained well, based on other Google reviews. We tried to find another nearby motel, but would have lost 91% of what we'd paid, so we figured we'd only get the taxes back. With as many Google reviews as I write, it would have been smart to read the previous ones. Point taken. We'll see what city we end up in tomorrow.

The only thing going for this place is the location. We were attending a convention at the nearby convention center, about a 5-10 minute drive away. Everything else was horrible. Our room was filthy, with trash and food bits everywhere, and the fridge and microwave were there but clearly broken. There were no amenities like personal care products or an iron. We were too tired to go elsewhere, so we stayed the one night we'd booked. I'd suggest paying the extra $10-$20 for one of the other nearby hotels.

We stayed almost a week and would come back. Our pet was welcome, the staff were pleasant, and the place was quiet enough and felt safe enough. The pool was available with chairs and a table, though no loungers, and the location was convenient to base and sights. The room was spacious and clean, with simple, distinctive decor. Hard "wood" floors and no heavy upholstery or drapes made it feel cleaner, without that stale, dated motel feel. It was good value, no frills in a good way. I wish we'd asked for a fridge and microwave, since we thought every room had them and later learned we were supposed to ask. That was a bit odd.
