Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Coliseum

I only needed one night after going to the Paul McCartney concert on the 25th. The nicer hotels had jumped to $500 or $600 because so much was happening in San Antonio that weekend, so I looked at cheaper places instead. This old hotel was about $83 and change with tax. Nothing inside, outside, or in the lobby felt modern. For that price, it was tolerable for a night, and my room was clean. I'd say it's safe to try if you just need somewhere for one night.

The room stank of sewage and cigarette smoke. I switched rooms, and the next one was worse. I left within 15 minutes. Gross hotel, don't stay here!

The owner was very sweet, and the rooms were clean.

My husband was having a nosebleed emergency, so I asked to use a restroom. The guy in the lobby was rude and wouldn't even let us into the hotel, despite seeing my husband bleeding. Because of someone like him, I would never book here.
