The room was clean and smelled nice, but the broken lock was the deal breaker. I left after five minutes because I didn't feel safe. It was $50 a night, but your safety matters more. The elevator reeked of smoke, and there was only one small pillow per person. The walls are thin, so you hear everything when people walk by. There was also a security officer and a guard dog. Find somewhere you can feel safe.

The photos are old, and the rundown, dirty place looked worse in person than online. When we got there, they said the rooms needed another half hour to be cleaned. The room we were eventually given hadn't been cleaned at all, and it was a smoking room even though we'd clearly said we didn't want one when booking. They had no other king room, so we accepted a queen instead. That room was just as bad and had a full size bed, not the queen they'd offered. They wouldn't send us to another location or do anything else. The place we booked through got the motel to waive the cancellation fee and said the refund would take 7-10 business days. I threatened to sue, and the money came back the next day, Saturday.

The listing says cats and dogs are allowed, but when I brought my cat, they told me I couldn't bring her inside and made me release her outside. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. The pool out front is now a huge green swamp, like a fish tank filled with who knows what. The sign said $140, but I ended up paying $226. Four outlets didn't work, the bathroom door was broken, and the shower head, tub drain, sink, and toilet all had problems. The walls were dirty and the curtains were broken too. I reported everything, but nothing was fixed or even looked at. When I asked to change rooms, they said none were open, even though I kept seeing people check out. The customer service was unfriendly and off-putting.

The staff were awesome, which is the one good thing I can say. We paid $280 for a week, but got a room with a full size bed and no table or chair. It was dirty, the towels were stained, and there were bed bugs. Housekeeping never came, and the hallways smelled bad. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're in a really bad spot like we were. We had no choice and had already paid, so we stayed.
