Estancia del Norte San Antonio, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

My stay was cool, but the TEAM is what made it a 12/10 for me. I was having a rough day, and after dinner I felt so much better. Joie & Angel gave me first class service, and I can’t thank them enough. The blackened salmon and a cocktail were both great choices. I definitely recommend it.

Parking lot security was the standout for me. I’m always worried about our vehicles, so I really appreciated that. The price was amazing, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff were kind. Honors members get plenty of amenities. The nearby area doesn’t have much going for it. It’s not a great place to get up and go for a run, though there are hills, and many roads don’t have sidewalks. Also, ask for a room away from the highway. It’s like a drag strip all night, but still manageable. For the next soccer tournament in San Antonio, I can’t picture staying anywhere else.

I got the Brussels sprouts and a burger, and both were fantastic. Brooke behind the bar was lovely too. Her hospitality made the visit better, and she got the little things right. I’m here for work a couple of nights most months. This trip had some travel complications, but Gayan made sorting out my stay easy and stress-free. Great food and service, and I’ll be glad to keep coming back.

From my room I could see and hear the highway, and between that noise and the loud A/C I struggled to sleep. I ended up switching the A/C off for my whole four-day stay. There was a balcony, which is usually nice, but I couldn’t open the door to it. The hotel looks pleasant at first, but I expected more from a Hilton.
