The room was updated and spacious, and those pillows felt like clouds. We spent mornings and evenings in the cute outdoor lounge, relaxing with coffee and enjoying the weather. The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast, but the kitchenette made it easy to keep food around and warm it up. And the coffee was so good I had at least 10 cups, honestly. A heads-up: the motion-sensor lights surprised me the first night, coming on at random and making the room feel like a haunted house. We’d figured them out by the second night. The shower also takes a while to heat, and even then it was more warm-ish than hot. That was my biggest complaint. There’s a 500-point Choice Privileges sign-up promotion, but you have to join at the front desk. We signed up in advance and missed it. This was booked for my parents, and I joined at the last minute. I’m glad I did. The woman who helped on both of my phone calls was so sweet and helpful, though I wish I’d remembered her name. Colin at check-in was the MVP of the weekend, going out of his way to make sure we were all set and clearly caring about the guests. Rose was just as kind and helpful at checkout. Great staff and a lovely vibe. I’d book again, probably a 9/10 stay.

Mr. Collins was especially helpful. He noticed me, brought my package, and made sure my requests were taken care of. The whole staff offered A-1 customer service. It’s a brand new hotel, and the room has a washer and dryer, a full-size fridge with an ice maker, and a two-burner stovetop. Outside there’s a laid-back spot with grills, a fireplace, and places to sit and enjoy a nice evening.

This was my second stay, and I’d planned to return after leaving a great review in their corporate survey. I worked all night, got back at 6:30 in the morning, and asked the guy for a 12 p.m. late checkout. He agreed but never mentioned there’d be a $20 charge. It’s not really the fee itself that bothers me. I’m upset that it wasn’t explained and showed up as a surprise charge. I felt almost betrayed by this otherwise nice little hotel, and the unexplained fee left me kind of hurt.

We were among the first guests at this brand new hotel. The staff were really nice, and there are lots of sightseeing options nearby. We can’t wait to return. Definitely recommend it!

We expected a good night’s sleep in a decent-sized room, but a loud party in the hotel’s public area woke us at 2 a.m. The windows don’t block the noise.
