The power went out, then the fire alarm sounded for around 30 minutes. Only five guests came to the lobby. The employee didn’t seem to know what to do. I had to wonder if this happens often and the other guests knew something I didn’t. The room was missing a coffee pot, iron, pans, facial tissues, and breakfast and juice. Shampoo and shower gel containers were empty, the window was impossible to see through, the sink was rusty, and the bathroom floor filthy. The hallway carpet looked like it had been peed on repeatedly. The website says linens are changed and the place cleaned only once every two weeks, which is gross. It says no pets, but a sign at the service counter says pets are welcome. This place should pay you to stay and ought to be shut down.

I booked a month-long stay for a business associate, but the room was unsanitary and had roaches. The guest reported it to the front desk and didn’t stay even one night. When I called to ask for a refund, I couldn’t reach anyone, and Priceline, the third party I booked through, said they couldn’t reach anyone either. After months of back and forth, the hotel is still telling Priceline it can’t refund any of the reservation.

Everything was clean and well cared for, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The spacious room gave me plenty of room to relax, and the location was very convenient. I had a wonderful stay at Hometown Studios. It’s an affordable, comfortable choice, and I’ll be back.

The bed was comfortable, and the sheets weren’t bad. At least there were no bedbugs. But the shower had no curtain and looked like a remodel that was never finished. One bed frame leg was missing, the Wi-Fi was poor, and the TV had no cable. On our last night, someone’s room was broken into. It sounded like people were dealing out of their rooms, which may be why it was broken into. I also saw two roaches. Not many, but they were there.
