We had a very enjoyable three-night stay, and I’d book this Homewood suites again when I’m back in San Antonio. The hotel looks modern and was clean, our room was nice, and the staff were both friendly and efficient. Breakfast was the usual buffet selection, but everything was excellent. I only found the waffle iron around the corner as I was checking out, so look there if you want waffles. Wednesday’s happy hour was a lovely extra, with complimentary finger foods, wine, and beer. I usually find something to complain about at hotels, but I had zero complaints here.

Breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean. We had a handicap room, though, and the tub shower made bathing difficult. I wish it had a walk-in shower. A dog in the neighboring room barked a lot, which got annoying. Even with those issues, I’d stay again.

We spent two months here after our house flooded, with three kids and four dogs, because our insurance company arranged it. There was room for all of us, including our medium-sized dogs, and the beds were comfortable. We had plenty of places to walk the dogs, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet had Belgium Waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, Bagels, Chorizo tacos, and Cereal, so there was a lot to choose from.

The pool was nicely shaded on hot evenings and wasn’t crowded while we were there. We also liked the well-kept BBQ area, and breakfast was great. The whole property was clean and smelled good. Everyone from the manager to the housekeepers made us feel welcome. My wife and I enjoyed the weekend.

I stayed March 3-5 2026. My truck was broken into while parked right out front in the handicap spot, near the camera and visible from the front desk. Nobody saw anything, and since I’m from out of town, I had to replace the broken window. That was really disappointing. The room itself was decent, but the TV didn’t work, so I couldn’t watch it.
