Studio 6 San Antonio, Tx - Fort Sam Houston Area

The room has been really quiet most of the time, even with the motel pretty full. You do hear I-35 when traffic is busy, though. I’ve been here a few weeks while waiting to move into my new place, and for the price the room is great. It’s not fancy, but the bed’s comfortable, everything is extremely clean, and I haven’t seen any bugs. It’s also very pet friendly. Better than some other Motel 6s and low-cost hotels I’ve tried.

I had to leave town after renting the room, and the front desk wouldn’t work anything out with me. I was only asking for some credit toward a future stay. I guess I’ll go to the Quality Inn next time, where they offer what they say they do. I also found this in my bed!

I’ve been staying here for a year and a half, and they’ve been good to me. The owners and staff are always nice and accommodating, housekeeping is available, and having a washer and dryer on site is handy for a long stay. When the refrigerator quit, they answered quickly and replaced it. The pool stays clean, and maintenance keeps the property tidy during the day. It’s an older, charming building, but the owners have done remodeling while I’ve been here and it’s looking good. I’m still happy with my current room, too. During this unforgiving heat the air conditioner went out, so I let the helpful owner know. Within an hour, the friendly, hardworking maintenance guy had delivered a replacement unit. The staff was prompt and accommodating.

The heater and stovetop in my room both failed. The floors were sticky, and the bed covers looked very old, with things melted onto them. In the shower area, part of the ceiling had been replaced but never painted. There were dirty stains on the walls that needed paint, and I saw one roach in the bathroom shower.
