The people here made the biggest impression on me. Erica, the General Manager, is warm, professional, and clearly takes the job seriously. Her presence and leadership show throughout the hotel, and I felt like a valued guest instead of just a reservation. Marco at the front desk and Araceli were just as welcoming, quick to help, and kind in everyday interactions. I spent two weeks at Candlewood Suites Loma Linda – San Bernardino, and the property was clean, quiet, and well cared for. Things ran smoothly, and I felt safe and comfortable. It’s a great choice for an extended stay. This team makes you want to come back, and I’d stay here again without hesitation. 👏

Really friendly staff, fast WiFi, a comfortable bed, updated rooms, a good shower, and complimentary coffee made for a nice stay. The carpet needs replacing, though, and the kitchen area in our room wasn't clean. The counters hadn't even been wiped, and there was a pot with old coffee and grounds left in the coffee maker. Too bad, since the rest of this Candlewood Suites was great.

The rate is good, and the rooms seem fairly new. Laundry is free, although you need to bring or buy your own detergent. There’s no breakfast and no pool. Getting around from here isn't ideal. The nearest Metrolink station is a 40-minute walk, and there aren't many food options nearby. I wonder if people stay because of the surgery center close by, though that center seems to be closed. I'm not sure what draws guests here, but the price is appealing.

Correction to my earlier post: I'm very disappointed and disheartened. Even though my reservation was nonrefundable and I had booked before the Kaiser employees, the manager and some staff were rude and made us leave because the rooms had been reserved for Kaiser strikes. Before that, Candlewood came to our rescue when we got 60 days' notice to leave the place we'd rented for eight years because the owner wanted to sell. The staff had been wonderful, attentive, respectful, and understanding, and they answered all our questions. It was very dog friendly, and the price was affordable. I wish we could rent a suite month to month while we look for an affordable place nearby. I know that sounds like “good luck,” but we found Candlewood.
