The room was a standard Courtyard Marriott setup, with strong AC and the usual amenities, though there was no lotion and the water pressure could use improvement. The bathroom door was especially annoying: it only shut if you shoved it hard. Shops and restaurants are easy to reach on foot, but traffic around here is heavy. The hotel itself was just okay, and I wish the app had been clearer that renovations were underway.

Our wedding guests were sent to the wrong wedding, which was a serious failure on a day that already mattered so much. We had booked a room block at Marriott Gulf Coast Town Center in December 2024 for our December 2025 wedding, but after the hotel changed management over the summer, the block wasn't honored as expected and some guests couldn't book rooms. Communication was a problem throughout. Steve Polche, the Director of Sales, could take up to a week to answer emails, even after I followed up several times. On the wedding day, a guest said the hotel was telling people a shuttle would leave at 3:30pm. While getting my hair and makeup done that morning, I went to the front desk myself to confirm the 5:00pm shuttle to Miromar Lakes that I'd arranged with Steve. Staff eventually worked out, after a long back-and-forth, that two wedding groups were staying there that weekend. Even so, they still sent our guests onto the other wedding's shuttle. The poor communication and room block problems added stress to what should have been a smooth experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a wedding room block.

Katrina made the stay for me. She was attentive and quick to sort out any issues I had. My room on the 3rd floor was comfortable, and I didn't hear construction, even though the hotel is renovating and the rooms are being refreshed. The rooms aren't new, but most guests should enjoy their stay.

The nice receptionist was a bright spot in an otherwise just okay stay. It was expensive, especially since nearby home 2 suites was much better and 30% cheaper.

I was here for a work trip, and the location was handy, with shops and restaurants nearby. My room was clean and comfortable, but I missed having a microwave in it. You have to go to the lobby to heat anything, which can feel like a nudge toward the restaurant if you want a "fresh" meal. The restaurant was just okay. The hummus was surprisingly good, the burger was fine but nothing special, and the wings were soggy. Clarisse at the bistro was really sweet, friendly, and helpful during my stay.
