Days Inn San Diego

We’re only here for two nights because we can’t sign our lease until tomorrow, and the rooms have been quiet, clean, a good size, and everything works. This location has updated rooms, and the online photos are accurate. My boyfriend and I have stayed at a few Motel 6 hotels in San Diego, and they’ve all been nice, though some rooms are smaller. We’re not here for work or vacation. Book online and sign up for the member account. A two-night stay showed up online for $70 a night, but when my boyfriend called reservations, they quoted over $300 for the same room. He came to the hotel and paid at the desk, which came to a little over $250. Booking on the Motel 6 website would’ve been $140 plus tax, a huge saving. Apart from that pricing difference, this hotel is excellent, and we’ll keep using Motel 6 when we need it.

Inside, the room was surprisingly fresh and tidy, much better than I expected from the outside. I can’t tell if it was recently remodeled or just cleaned especially well. Nearby food options include In-N-Out, Taco Bell, and Denny’s, which was handy. I stayed two nights at Motel 6 South Bay and felt safe, with no problems. The location isn’t the best, and there were police sirens now and then through the night. Still, for the price, it was a decent place to rest if you’re on a budget and can live with some city noise. It’s not luxury, but it did the job.

The room and service were great, though the street is so congested that getting in and out is difficult.

That bed was unbelievably comfortable, the best we’ve had at any hotel or motel, and we got such a restful night. Our room and the rest of the property were spotless and clearly well cared for. The outdoor areas were bright and felt safe at night, which we really appreciated. Thanks to the staff for making everything so welcoming and cozy.
