I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties, and this was the worst treatment I’ve experienced. Chantel at the front desk was dismissive and annoyed when I politely mentioned being a Hilton Honors member, instead of acknowledging it or offering the usual courtesy. She was rude and unprofessional from the moment I checked in. I felt I was mistreated and treated differently from other guests. The way she treated me felt discriminatory and racist, which is unacceptable. California law entitles guests to equal treatment and service, and I don’t feel that standard was met here. There was no appreciation for loyalty or effort to make me comfortable. This was disappointing and far below what I expect from Hilton. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

A great value and a good spot to rest. The beds are comfortable, and the whole place is exceptionally clean. Staff are friendly, breakfast is plentiful and hot, and the weight room has good equipment. Getting here from the freeway is easy, and self parking costs $18 a day, which is affordable. I’d definitely stay again.

I felt safe staying here on my own for part of the trip because the staff checked in with me by text to see how things were going. They were kind, friendly, and courteous, and were always cleaning to keep the place looking nice. The location worked well too: a gas station and convenience mart and a Taco Bell are right outside, other shops are a short drive away, and the beach took me about half an hour to reach on foot. Check-in was easy. My room was clean and comfortable, with very comfortable beds and sheets, strong shower pressure, wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and plenty of charging spots. There’s also a small market downstairs. The lobby has coffee, tea, and lemon or cucumber water, and breakfast was delicious each morning until 10:00 a.m. It was peaceful and relaxing, reasonably priced, and I’d gladly return. Thank you!

Breakfast and service were both quite good, and the rooms are nice, though they feel a bit sparse compared with Hamptons from years ago. The extra fees took away from an otherwise fine location: parking costs extra, and they want you to pay for premium Internet on top of the free option. The Hilton app failed again when I tried to use it to enter my room.
