Synergy Corporate Housing

I booked this room through my job for a two-month stay, and Synergy left me hanging when I needed help. Just three days in, I told them the noise was keeping me from sleeping. I tried a white noise machine, noise-canceling headphones, earplugs, music, even all of them together, and still got no more than an hour of sleep a night. They took two days to reply, saying they’d see what they could do. I stayed elsewhere for the rest of my time and contacted them again, but never heard back. The view was mostly tents and trash from the homeless people nearby. People would walk in front of cars and in front of the trams, which then honked until they moved. This went on around the clock. If sleeping under the sound of a packed roller coaster all day and night sounds fine to you, maybe this is your place. I know it’s a city, but that doesn’t excuse the noise control. I’ve stayed by freeways with better sound insulation.
