Red Roof Inn San Dimas - Fairplex

The room was really clean, and I was impressed when I walked in. I got there a little early on February 26, but they let me check in anyway. Bryan at the front desk helped arrange a room and worked it out with Patty from housekeeping. Bryan, the other desk staff, and housekeeping all deserve credit for their professionalism and hard work with guests. Sincerely, Lynn Merrill

The stay was nice and the price was good. There was one rough night, though. From the room above us, it sounded like five kids were having a WWE wrestling match until around 2 a.m. I know you can't control guests or their kids, so I don't see that as something to fix. At checkout I tried to make coffee for the drive home, but the coffee tray in my room was too big for the machine's slot. That part should be fixed. Still, it was a great stay, and I'd try this place again if I needed to.

We’ve been here two or three times a month for about a year, and it was fantastic at first. Lately it's gone downhill fast. They mishandle points, no longer provide quarters for the laundry room, and maintenance issues keep increasing. Upper management seems to have completely neglected things. After spending thousands, I don't feel appreciated as a regular, so it's time to find another weekly spot.

The desk staff were especially warm and welcoming, and customer service was very, very good throughout my visit. The grounds and pool were kept up, with ice machines around the property, plenty of trash cans, and grass where pets could go. I wish there were stations with pet waste bags. Security also patrolled on foot or in a car. The rooms and beds were okay, though they could use a modern upgrade. I liked being able to reach lots of shops and restaurants on foot in about five minutes.
