Beacon Grand, A Union Square Hotel

The room wasn't quiet. Street sounds came through the windows, especially on a lower floor, and there was a steady static or machine-like noise too. If you're sensitive to small sounds or need total silence, this may not suit you. Still, the building has a great location and beautiful architectural character. The staff were friendly and helpful. When I had a room issue, they moved me to another one right away.

I travel to SF often for work and have tried several hotels, but Beacon Grand is my new favorite. The building is beautiful and conveniently located, though the staff are what make it special. Everyone was kind and attentive. Kahn was especially welcoming and helpful, and Alejandro made changing my reservation easy. The whole team made my work trip much more pleasant. Thanks for accommodating me and making it such a lovely stay.

My room was 1037, spacious and very well equipped. The king bed was wonderfully comfortable, the large bathroom was spotless, and the wifi was fast. The shared spaces, including the bar, were attractive and comfortable, and the staff were discreet and efficient. It was great value for money, and I'd gladly stay again and recommend the Beacon Grand. I was here on business and appreciated how the hotel brings modern amenities into a beautifully renovated historic building while keeping the architecture's character.

The location was great, close to everything, and it was actually pretty quiet at night. We enjoyed the visit enough that we'll be back. I love old architecture, and this building has plenty of character. One thing to address: the doormen didn't seem very friendly or willing to recommend places to go. We stay in a lot of hotels and haven't had that problem before. Please fix it, because it would make a big difference to how guests feel.
