City Center Inn & Suites

We picked City Center Inn for Tate McRae’s concert at Chase Center, and it took care of my two biggest worries: where to leave the car overnight and whether the place would feel dingy. I was happy with both, and had a great time. We’ll stay again. The secured parking is complimentary, which I really appreciated. There aren’t many spaces and it’s first come, first served, but we arrived more than an hour after check-in on the night of the big event. The front desk employee had warned us it would be “packed,” yet a few spots were still open. Plan ahead, don’t get in too late, and ideally leave the car there. The locked garage felt safer. A Lyft to and from Chase Center took about 20 minutes in heavy concert traffic and cost $15-20 each way, which was cheaper and less stressful than hunting for parking. It’s an inn, so don’t expect anything fancy. As someone who doesn’t know the city, I found it easy to locate. Check-in was seamless and the front desk employee was laid back. We went up two outdoor flights of stairs to our room. It wasn’t big, but it was cozy and smelled pleasant. The bed was nothing special, though not uncomfortable, and I slept well. It was fairly quiet too. The free breakfast was pretty underwhelming, just pre-packed breakfast claws, juice, and bread for toast. Still, it’s a nice gesture for an inn. I wouldn’t count on it as your whole meal plan.
