The rooms were fairly clean and small. Having a fridge and microwave was very convenient for us, but sleeping was the problem. People walking around, loud music from a nearby nightclub, racing cars, and young people making noise outside kept things going until 2 a.m. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children, since they'd have a hard time sleeping through the street noise.

The room was clean, and the receptionist was wonderful: friendly, chatty, and full of advice and recommendations. If I get the chance to visit San Francisco again, I'll try to book here.

I called to ask a representative about parking, but the conversation was extremely disrespectful. She spoke badly about guests, said she'd witnessed break-ins onsite, and blamed guests for them. When I raised my concern, she told me to "change my tone." I said I wasn't interested in hearing her disparage guests or dismiss concerns about break-ins, and she hung up. I called several more times and she hung up again. I can provide phone records showing this. The conduct was unprofessional and immature. I won't stay here.

A lot of break-ins have reportedly happened onsite, and the people here are rude. The front desk woman was highly inappropriate and verbally aggressive toward guests. I won't book here again.

The room was clean and well stocked, with no carpet or bathtub. Those were the reasons I chose the place to begin with, and they make me confident about returning. My husband and I came from Utah for a one night stay at Greenwich, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The woman at the front desk, whose name I forgot, answered all our questions as first-time visitors to San Francisco and helped us with a work matter by finding the nearest post office and recommending nearby restaurants. We'll stay at Greenwich again when we're back in SFO.
