Roberts At the Beach Motel

I’m a petite, senior woman, quiet and soft-spoken, and I was with my son and his girlfriend when we stopped to ask about a room for the night. The owner and his son shouted and screamed at us when we asked why the room prices had gone up. He told us, “do not argue with me, or question me.” It was frightening, and we didn’t deserve that anger or rudeness. The owner, who is East Indian, seemed not to like us even though we’re East Indian by birth and were raised in South America. They were the rudest people I’ve ever met. I’d advise anyone reading this to avoid the motel unless they want to find out what it feels like to be hated for no reason.

I'm sad this place is closing. It was great for a one-night stay, and cheap spots this close to the beach are getting hard to find.
