The lounge was a cute place to sit, eat, or study, with a microwave, free fresh coffee, and snack and drink machines. Shops and cafes are close by, though be ready for plenty of steep hills around the city. The location itself was great for walking or taking a bus, with views of the China Town dragon gate entry, art studios, and French cafes. Staff were very helpful, and the place felt clean, quiet, and respectful. We shared a bathroom and shower but never had to wait, and having our room right across the hall made it feel almost like our own. Just check whether your room has a mini fridge, since they don't all come with one. When we didn't have one, staff kindly stored our food in theirs, though they had to bag and label it and retrieve it for us.

For the price, this was clean and comfortable, and more affordable than the hotels nearby. The staff were friendly, too. You can walk to just about everything from this location, and the stay was great.

The shared bathrooms and showers stayed clean, and there were enough of them that I never had to wait. My room was basic but clean, and for the affordable price it was good value. The front desk staff were efficient and helpful. I also saw someone in charge refuse to let a guest stay in a room that wasn't completely clean, which made me think they take cleanliness and guests seriously, unlike some other cheap places in the area.

The room felt a bit stuffy, and opening the window brings in quite a bit of street noise, as other reviews mention. They do provide a fan. I also didn't think the bathroom or shower had good ventilation. Still, cleanliness is my main priority, and it met my standard for the price, so I could live with those drawbacks. Overall, it's clean and decent for what it costs.

We loved the location in the heart of Little Italy. Manager Vince was incredibly kind and helped with everything we needed. Macy was wonderful too. We'll definitely be back!
