Hayes Mansion, San Jose - Curio Collection by Hilton

I had a relaxing stay in a peaceful atmosphere, and my spotless room had a lovely view. The staff I encountered were all kind and professional. There were plenty of good breakfast choices, and the breakfast area was clean. A comfortable choice for travelers.

We celebrated our wedding here and came back this year for our anniversary. Even with the cold, it was lovely. The hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood, well away from San Jose’s noisy spots and busy streets. We enjoyed the food, the well-equipped gym, and the game room with family, along with the friendly service and everything else it offers. We’ll come back again.

I’ve stayed here more than a dozen times for business, and Hayes Mansion is still my go-to. The efficient service works well for work, while the place feels more like a relaxing resort than a standard high-rise. The property is always well kept, and my stay near Christmas was especially lovely, with incredible decorations that made the atmosphere feel warm and festive. The restaurant and bar are great, and the breakfast team are so nice they make me feel at home when I’m away. A big thanks to Erin Beadle and her team for running such a wonderful operation.

Jackie at the front desk was exceptional. She kindly moved us to a ground floor room for our dog, and the staff were nice. This is an old mansion property with reasonably priced rooms and plenty of grassy areas plus an adjacent park, so it’s probably the best hotel in San Jose for dogs. Both times we stayed there were large weddings, and there was also a Google party with a lot of fancy cars. None of the events were noisy. The on-site restaurant was very good.
