Buddy was the first highlight: when I checked in, he was welcoming, polite, professional, informative, and answered my questions. The room was clean and cozy, with the thermostat already set to a comfortable warmth even though it was freezing outside. I was in town for a wedding and was glad the iron and ironing board in the closet were clean and worked properly. The toiletries impressed me too, and the crisp linens and soft, fluffy towels smelled freshly laundered. The corridors between the lobby and room were tidy, and the outside parking lot was well lit. Breakfast in the lobby was quick, easy, and delicious. Buddy was also on the desk when I checked out the next day, and was just as courteous and engaged with the guests ahead of me as he had been with me. I have nothing negative to say about my stay. I'll definitely be back and recommend La Quinta on Center Point next to the San Marcos Outlets.

On our wedding night, our plans changed at the last minute, so we called at 10 pm on Saturday to ask about a room. The woman who answered was straight rude and gave me more sass than I've ever had from anyone on the phone. Thankfully, we could cancel our online reservation and book at a different hotel. Later that night, I called the front desk and was told the person's name was Cruz. This was completely unprofessional. I'll be contacting corporate and BBB about the experience, and won't stop until it's resolved or the person is reprimanded. What the heck.

Several people in my group got the same treatment at check-in: the front desk employee seemed annoyed, gave us little information, and wasn't welcoming. It was disappointing, and surprising because this isn't the level of service I expect. I hope management provides more training to improve the guest experience.

The breakfast was delicious, and the guy serving it was really kind and polite. They offer breakfast from 6/9am, and there's an ice machine too. Room service was 10/10, and everything was kept clean. The hotel smells delicious 24/7. We stayed for 2 days with our dogs, and the service was 10/10. They did let us know the dogs could bark, but I have chihuahuas and they're super annoying, lol, sorry. Everyone there is really good, polite, and helpful. Both receptionist girls, across the two shifts, were so sweet. Location was 10/10. Such a great experience, definitely coming back.

They had a cute photo setup for the 2026 graduates, which was really thoughtful. From the moment we arrived, everyone was super nice and friendly. The front desk made check-in easy and gave me all the information I needed. Absolutely love it.
