The location of Santa Clarita Motel is decent, and the rooms were fairly clean, but the repeated key problems and poor service made this a very disappointing stay. The key stopped working nearly twice a day, so I kept having to go to the front desk to get it reprogrammed. The night shift employee was the worst part. When I asked for a new key, he yelled at me and blamed me, saying I must have put it near my phone. I've stayed at plenty of other hotels with my phone and never had this happen. The AC was extremely loud and made sleeping difficult. I would never stay here again.

Decent, clean, and comfortable place. It's beside a busy road and railroad tracks, and the double-pane windows don't block the sound very well. You can walk to the main street area for some good food and places to hang out. Try the smokehouse BBQ!

I added an extra day to my stay, but when I tried to pay, the clerk said I had to do it on the day I checked out. When I went to the office that morning, the clerk said he couldn't do it. Why does the app let me add a day if the hotel doesn't allow it? I hope I don't get charged, since that's the hotel's issue.

The room was clean and cozy, and the front office staff were pleasant and helpful. The fresh hot coffee, hot water, and pastries were a nice surprise. I'd definitely stay here again.

The rooms were clean, though a little dated, and we were very close to The Masters University, where we were headed. Management responded quickly when we had an issue with our TV.
