I chose the quieter Carriage House because I was looking for peace and quiet. The bed was so comfortable I hated to get up, and the room felt modern, though sparsely furnished. The marble bathroom floor looks nice but gets slippery. Nearby, it’s mostly furniture shops, and the neighborhood felt a little sketchy. Police cleared people out, but I wouldn’t walk around there at night. Bring food or use DoorDash, as I did. The main hotel is cute, but I think staying in the quieter area was the right choice for me.

The tubs are huge and deep, and check-in is available around the clock. There are plenty of good, affordable restaurants right on the block. It’s a clean, quaint, very nice place, with cool skylights on the upper floors. Highly recommend it.

The room felt peaceful, and I slept really well in the comfortable bed. Soft light coming through a sheer curtain gave it a cozy, romantic feel. It’s a distinctive historic hotel in a good location, and I really enjoyed staying here. Recommend it!

Our room was huge, with a beautiful four-poster bed. You can walk to many of Santa Rosa’s best restaurants and beer spots from here. The Wi-Fi is very slow, so ask to borrow their Mobil Hot Spot and you’ll be set. I’d come back.

We’ve stayed here before, which is why we returned. Booking was easy and the price was good. There’s shopping close by, the location is great, and freeway access is easy.
