Country Inn

The rooms were really clean, freshly painted, roomy, and comfortable. For an inexpensive place, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Santa Rosa. It's pet friendly, and the management is awesome and very friendly. Getting out onto Santa Rosa boulevard is a little awkward, but I could easily stay here for a week if I needed to. This is definitely going to be my spot in Santa Rosa.

Our plans changed, so we never actually stayed at the hotel. Still, the man who took our reservation and later helped cancel it was supportive and kind. Hearing his foreign accent made me think about how rude many people in service have become. If more people treated each other kindly, the world could be wonderful. That's why I gave the hotel five stars.

The place looked small, so I wasn't sure about it, but the room was clean, comfortable, and nicely put together. It reminded me of a Laughlin resort. The man who checked us in and out was friendly and helpful. Restaurants and stores were close enough to walk to across the street. We'll come back. Thank you!

I remembered this place from 20-25 years ago as pretty run-down and seedy, and I wasn't sure if it still had the same name. Coming back recently was a pleasant surprise. It's now quaint, quiet, and clean, with a mini fridge and microwave in every room. The front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. Santa Rosa Marketplace and The Grog Shoppe are right across the street. Applebee's, In 'n' Out, and plenty of other places are walkable. The cleaning ladies can get a little aggro as checkout time approaches, though I can understand why. Check-in starts at 1 p.m. I'll be back.
