Comfort Inn & Suites

The front desk staff were rude and often on personal calls while trying to talk to customers. They kept chatting on the phone and serving people at the same time, and sometimes nobody was at the desk because they’d wandered off. Apparently the desk person also handles housekeeping and breakfast. The breakfast was minimal, and nothing was replenished after it ran out. The drink machine in the breakfast area was broken. The room and building felt cheaply maintained and worn, with touch-ups needed throughout. My floor was dirty, and there were no washcloths or towel hooks. The bathroom caulk had mold around it. The closet had an iron and board but no hangers, so I had to live out of my bags. There was a large jacuzzi tub in the bedroom rather than the bathroom, and it smelled like urine. The walls and floors were so thin that I could hear everything. It’s individually owned, and they don’t give refunds if you cancel or make changes. I would not stay here again or recommend it unless you have no other choice.

Paul at the front desk was warm and welcoming, and the hotel and room were clean and well cared for. The price was great, and I’d stay again. My only issue was the pillows. They were too overstuffed for me, and after a 12-hour drive I couldn’t sleep comfortably without straining my neck. The shower stayed nicely hot.

We booked five rooms for four days and couldn’t get enough clean towels or washcloths. They took our towels without replacing them, and when we went to the desk we were given two even though we needed four. Housekeeping was promised for two days but never came. The rooms were poorly prepared. There was hair on the sheets, something like sand under the blanket, hair on the toilet and in the shower, and the window was filthy, like it hadn’t been washed. The bathroom fan didn’t work, and we had only half a roll of toilet paper with no spare. I could keep listing things. I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Check-in went smoothly, too. The hotel is conveniently located near the highway, which made getting around easy. I had a very good stay at comfort Inn & suites tulsa.
