We chose this place for its location near USF and Busch Gardens, and for a low-cost stay without using the sofa bed, it might do. Parking is $10. We were told check-in had to wait until 3 because rooms were being cleaned, but the sofa bed still wasn’t made when we got to ours. There was someone’s lingerie wedged between the cushions. It didn’t look used, thankfully, and we hid it in the room for the next guest to find. The bed was painful, with springs digging into my back. I wouldn’t expect one to be especially comfortable, but this was rough. Ask for a room away from the road if noise bothers you, since it gets loud at night.

The room was clean and modern, with everything we needed, including an iron and hair dryer, as the photos show. We spent two nights here and had a good stay. Check-in and checkout were quick, and it was a peaceful place. There were plenty of free parking spots, too. Watch your step in the tub, though, it was a little slippery.
Friendly staff, and the gym was decent. Most of the weights were there. A cable machine would be a nice addition. I liked it better than the holiday inn on telecom drive.
The street noise was a problem, the TV wouldn’t get channels, and nobody seemed to care. The air conditioner sounded like it was about to give out. Away from the lobby, the place feels run down for what it costs. There are much better hotels nearby, and I wouldn’t stay here again. Motel 6 would be better.
I booked this hotel by mistake for the holiday. It’s a long way from downtown, and the place felt unsafe. As I was heading to my room, I saw a Black man slipping pizza vouchers under every door. He smelled strongly of marijuana, and the whole hotel smelled like weed. Later I saw him leave through a side door, then saw another person doing the same thing. I don’t know why or how they were able to wander the halls.
