Embassy Suites by Hilton Sarasota, FL

We had booked two rooms for two nights, and I confirmed that arrangement by phone three separate times. Each time I was assured both rooms were reserved. But the next day, when I called to see if they were ready, I was told there was only one room under our reservation. We had to ask several times for a refund because we didn't stay for any of the reservation. The problems started at check-in at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Sarasota. The mattress had brown stains and what looked like a bug on it, and the counters hadn't been wiped down. We went to the front desk right away, but were told no rooms were available, with no offer to clean the room or help us find another property. Late at night, we had to locate other lodging ourselves and ended up moving between two different hotels. I was deeply disappointed and would caution others before booking.

The view is breathtaking, and the rooms are immaculate. Each day they provide a $28 credit toward food and drinks, plus two complimentary drinks during happy hour. It's conveniently situated a short trip from just about any amenity you can imagine, making it a great choice for business travel and vacations alike. I highly recommend the NBC suites by Hilton here in Sarasota.

Everything was clean and the food was wonderful, and the staff were lovely, from the front desk and bartenders to the servers, hosts, and omelet makers. But Kimberly at the front desk made me feel more special than I've ever felt at a hotel. She was already sending check-in texts before I arrived, then went out of her way to handle a few requests once I got there. I've never had service like that. Thank you! I stayed here 2/28-3/2, and it was the best hotel service I've ever had.
