The bed was really comfortable, and soaking in the tub was just right in the cold weather. We also liked having the indoor pool and gym nearby, both were well kept. Our room was bigger than we expected, though a few parts looked a little worn. The location made it easy to walk to lots of places around town. We didn't try the hotel restaurant, but it was nice to have that option. No noise issues or other problems during our stay. We had a great time here.

The hotel's connection to Saratoga Springs history gives it a character I don't usually find at a chain. That sense of place felt natural, and the property was welcoming, comfortable, and well cared for. I had an excellent stay at Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs by IHG. Of all the Holiday Inns I've stayed at around the country, this was easily my favorite. I'd happily come back when I visit Saratoga Springs.

Robert and the rest of the staff made the stay feel especially welcoming. He was professional, friendly, and went out of his way to help everything go smoothly. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a good price for the location and amenities. EV charging was easy to use and reasonably available, which I appreciated. I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

On Christmas Day, I realized the room I'd booked through Expedia would be too small once my kids arrived the next day. The front desk associate, whose name I wish I'd caught, was so understanding and kindly arranged a full refund so I could book somewhere else. She handled a stressful situation with real compassion and professionalism, especially on a holiday. I'm very grateful for how smoothly she took care of it, and I hope management sees this praise.

The rooms could use upgrades. Ours was clean, but it felt very tired, and the adjoining doors let through a lot of noise. We only got hot water for about five minutes, too. Still, the staff were so friendly and kind, and the location is hard to beat for the price. Downtown Saratoga is expensive, so being able to walk around from here was great. The place has potential.
