Fairfield Inn And Suites Savannah Downtown Hi

I really liked the building's clean, modern look, and the room was spacious and very clean. The elevator worked perfectly, and the mattresses were the most comfortable I've had in a while. Breakfast was very good, with healthy choices and not too much processed food. The location was great, close to everything, and I felt safe walking around. Staff were okay, though they could've been friendlier and more attentive. Parking was the main thing I'd change: $45 a night was far too much, so I found a garage a few minutes away for $12.00 a night. Still, it was a good experience.

Breakfast gets high marks for its variety. The hotel sits just inside the Historic District, and we chose the nearby Robinson Parking garage, a short walk away, instead of paying $45 overnight for valet parking. Our room had a king bed, sitting area, pull-out couch, and TV. Basic wifi is free, but bring your own charging cords. There's a small coffee maker, though no light or outlet for it. The bathroom is large, but the vanity lighting is poor. The outdoor pool is closed.

Bonnie at reception was magnificent. When I needed to extend my stay, she handled it easily and with a smile. She also took the time to enter the right Bonvoy Member number so I could get the correct member benefits. Ask for her when you come. My room was clean and, even more importantly, the air quality was good. The mid-town location is perfect, with shopping, groceries, a walking trail, and other amenities conveniently close.

The location is great and everything was very clean. Everyone, from the doormen and front desk to the people cleaning, was helpful. Nancy and Kim, who take care of breakfast in the morning, are always cheerful, even when the hotel guests keep them busy, and they go above and beyond. We got sincere, friendly service from all the employees from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend the Fairfield Inn.
