Inn At Mulberry Grove

It felt creepy, like a haunted hotel, and I was scared to spend the night. We stayed three hours for a nap and checked out quickly. My friend hadn’t wanted to inspect the room before booking. There was a hole in the wall, dirty walls, and dusty furniture that looked 50 years old. The toilet tank was missing its top and it wouldn’t flush. The second room was disgusting too. There was a paper towel stuffed into the peephole, blocking the view into the room. It wasn’t worth $60. I don’t have pictures, but the other reviews aren’t lying.

The room was in terrible shape, with dirty sheets marked by burn spots, a cigarette smell, and roaches. Staff were rude and the service was awful. I had to pay twice because they said the first transaction hadn’t gone through on their end. This place is just rundown. I’d never stay there again, even if it were the only option.

The room was dirty, some things didn’t work, and everything felt too old. I think it needs improvement.

The shower curtain was extremely moldy, and the handle was broken. It was late and I had a 5 a.m. flight, but she wouldn’t let me use another room to shower unless I moved rooms, because they needed to clean mine to rent it again. I said that made no sense since all I needed was a shower, not the whole room cleaned. She was rude and didn’t care what was convenient or reasonable. I ended up getting pliers from my car to turn on the water. I’d prepaid through a third party, but she still made me give her my credit card. Now there’s a $30 charge. I called to ask why and was told she’d have to check with her manager and call me back. I’m still waiting, and had to call my credit card company to dispute it. Horrible experience!
