The whole team made the afternoon feel relaxed and special, with great hospitality, lovely surroundings, and a luxurious feel. Kristen deserves a special thank you for her excellent service and upbeat energy. The cocktails were fantastic, and the music set just the right mood. The pool party at The Kimpton Brice Hotel was an incredible way to spend an afternoon in Savannah. Keep an eye out for the Kimpton Brice pool events if you’re looking for something fun. Great people, great drinks, and genuine Southern hospitality. Highly recommend!

The room was spacious and nicely designed, and the property itself is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. I liked the quiet courtyard between the buildings, and it’s in a convenient part of Savannah. Dogs can stay without an extra fee, which is a real plus for pet owners. Still, the bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was noticeably lopsided, leaving your head lower than the rest of your body, which made for a poor night’s sleep. The main problem was parking. We paid for it with our reservation, but the hotel didn’t honor that. Staff on site weren’t helpful or particularly friendly when we tried to sort it out. Calling didn’t help either, since we were sent to an offsite call center that couldn’t fix the issue. We’re still trying to resolve it through BringFido, where we booked, with no result so far. In a city with so many choices, I can’t see a reason to return. It’s a nice setting, but they didn’t follow through on an important part of the stay.

The pool was a highlight, and the Saturday afternoon pool party was fun. Our room was a decent size, quiet, and nicely equipped. I had to request an iron and ironing board through guest services, though, since they aren’t standard. The fitness room was a mess. It was 81F, with no ventilation, and the air conditioner seemed to be broken. Exercising there felt like hot yoga. The Peloton bikes had only clip-in pedals, no cages, so your feet can slip off. There were no towels on my second visit, and the BBQ-style wipes were ineffective for cleaning the equipment. Pacci was a no-go for us. We waited over 30 minutes to be seated in a half-full restaurant, then another 45 minutes for food. It was mediocre at best, so plan to eat somewhere else. This stay didn’t feel remotely like the luxury it was described as, and it didn’t represent the Kimpton brand.

The beds were very soft, and the pillows were extremely flat. The shower was okay, with good pressure and hot water, and the towels were great. The pool went unused, and the workout room was hard to find, with just a couple of treadmills, bikes, and some weights. There were no water refills, only bottles. Inside, the place looks really nice, but our room had a broken drawer and an odd layout. Using the desk chair blocked access to the other half of the room. There was an iron holder but no iron or board. We asked for one and were told it would come once housekeeping arrived at 9 am, but it never did. The restaurant was very slow throughout our three-day stay. It took a while for anyone to acknowledge us, I never got the biscuit I ordered, and my coffee wasn’t refilled. Luckily there’s coffee in the lobby. Give yourself at least an hour or more for breakfast here. The staff were friendly, but Jamelle was the only person who went above and beyond.
